Teachers and parents can submit on behalf of students in middle or high school who do not meet these age requirements. For example, since the word “deft” is listed as an adjective, you cannot substitute the adverb “deftly.” However, you cannot change a word’s part of speech. It is acceptable to use a word in a different tense or to use the plural of a word that is listed in the singular. Send us your submission by commenting on this post. Identify your vocabulary words by writing them in ALL CAPS. Your comment must be only one sentence and use only two of the listed vocabulary words. Your comment can be fact or fiction, silly or serious we care most that you learn new words and have fun. We looking for sentences that are creative, original and make sense. The best sentences will illustrate the definitions of both words. Your sentence should show that you have thought about the meanings of two words in relation to one another.
